Founder & Principal Architect
Gurmukh is the Founder and Principal Architect of Grasp Design Ltd. He is a registered architect with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya and serves as Vice Chairperson of the Kenya Green Building Society.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Gurmukh integrates advanced digital tools with local craft to design innovative, fluid spaces and environments. His work is grounded in a strong understanding of context and informed by technical rigour, drawing on data-driven design, environmental analysis, performance modelling, and advanced BIM workflows informed by his role as a Certified BIM Manager.
His portfolio spans hospitality developments, residential master planning, commercial projects, and policy advisory. Notably, he led the design of Africa's first LEED v4.0 Platinum-certified project, which was also recognised as best in its class globally at the International Property Awards.
